Women in Nuclear SA: chairperson

Chairperson: Ms N Matube

 

Ms Ntebatse Matube, Senior Manager: Employment Equity (Necsa). Ms Matube is currently charged with the implementation of Employment Equity at Necsa. She graduated (BA Ed) from Wits University in 1990. She joined Necsa in 1994 and moved herself up the ranks until her current position as a senior manager in their Human Resource department. She has recently been assigned to manage the learning and development department which will complement her experience in the transformation of Necsa. She also holds an MBA qualification from the Unisa/Open University program.

Her belief in the empowerment of women saw her tirelessly contributing to the establishment of WiNSA from its inception. She is assisting steering the nuclear industry transformation and ensuring that previously disadvantaged individuals have access to information and learning and development training funds. She has been entrusted with the administrative management of the South African Nuclear Human Asset and Research Program (SANHARP) to develop human resource core skills for the nuclear industry, on behalf of Necsa.
