Chairperson: Ms R Moerane

 

Ms Refilwe Moerane holds the position of Chief Quality Engineer at PBMR Pty Ltd in the Fuel Division. She is one of a few in a male dominated world and environment who has excelled herself to take up such a position.

Born in Bapong near Brits she graduated with a MSc from the North West University - Mafikeng campus.

Ms Moerane comes with excellent experience in having worked for the National Nuclear Regulator, an independent body required to ensure the highest standards of nuclear safety in the nuclear sector. In addition she has worked at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station and as a scientist at Necsa. She was appointed as a WiNSA chairperson during April 2006.
