The Institute of Mine Surveyors South Africa (IMSSA)
IMSSA was established in 1923. It is actively involved with the education and training of mine surveyors. IMSSA is affiliated to the International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM), and the South African Council for Professional and Technical Surveyors (PLATO), IMSSA's registration body.
